# Fix a torn ribbon in the Sinfonia CS2 printer

## Troubleshooting Guide: Repairing Torn Ribbon

If you find that your ink ribbon has torn, you may follow the steps below to repair the ribbon.

 

Please note that repeated tearing of the ribbon may indicate a hardware failure with your printer, in which case a swap (for warranty) or repair (out of warranty) may be required.
